Recycled and speciality materials

Modal

Modal is a material derived from cellulose sourced from beech wood. Even though Modal is biodegradable, we recommend not throwing it away with general waste, but placing it in textile recycling containers, where it can be processed and recycled further.

Recycled polyester

Recycled polyester is made from recycled waste, such as PET bottles, old polyester clothing, or fishing nets collected from the ocean. This reduces the need to extract new fossil raw materials. The exact proportion of recycled fibres is always stated in the product details.

Cotton

Cotton is a much-loved natural material, prized for its softness, breathability and comfortable feel against the skin. We test it against the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate, which confirms it contains no substances harmful to health – so it's safe even for sensitive skin and the youngest wearers.

Organic cotton

Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, and is also free of genetically modified seeds. Its cultivation consumes 90% less water and produces up to 46% less CO2 than conventional cotton. Our goal is to make as many of our products as possible from renewable or recycled sources.

Bamboo

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world and a renewable natural resource. No pesticides or synthetic fertilisers are used in its cultivation, and compared with other crops, it needs far less water. The material made from it is soft and suitable even for sensitive skin.

Recycled polyamide

Recycled polyamide is a material made from old fishing nets, carpets and remnants of production. Waste that would otherwise end up in landfills thus gets a second chance.
